LOS ANGELES – A warm, dry Saturday is expected to be the calm before a messy stretch of weather across Southern California, with forecasters warning a potent storm could arrive late Sunday and linger into early next week with heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, rough seas and dangerous surf.
“Sunday will be a transition day as a potent storm system approaches from the northwest,” the National Weather Service said.
