Livingston Co. man charged after investigation into online messages with California minor

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Lima man has been charged with a felony after investigators say he exchanged unlawful communications with a California minor he met through an online video game, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Aiden Kelly, 20, on Thursday following a joint investigation that began late last year. Authorities in Orange County, Calif., alerted Livingston County investigators in November after identifying concerning online messages allegedly sent by Kelly to a 14‑year‑old in their jurisdiction, officials said.
