Santa Rosa Police honor retired K9 Ace
The Santa Rosa Police Department announced the passing of retired K9 Ace, a Belgian Malinois who served the community for six and a half years before retiring in 2025. Ace joined the department in November 2018 and was trained in patrol tactics, suspect tracking, and narcotics detection. During his service, he helped with major seizures, including 6.6 lbs of cocaine and 1 lb of fentanyl.
After retirement, Ace lived with his handler, Officer Andy Adams, enjoying a peaceful life at home. The department shared that Ace will be remembered for his bravery, skill, and loyalty to both his team and the people of Santa Rosa.
