Tampa, Clearwater, Sarasota and Lakeland Start With Dense Morning Fog Before Sunshine Pushes Temperatures Into the Upper 70s

TAMPA, FLORIDA — Residents across Tampa, Clearwater, Sarasota, St. Petersburg and Lakeland are waking up to low clouds and pockets of dense fog, especially in coastal communities, before sunshine returns later today and temperatures climb into the upper 70s. Sunshine Returns by Midday

By 11 a.m., skies are forecast to turn mostly sunny across much of the region. Afternoon highs are expected to reach around 75 degrees by early afternoon, with peak temperatures near 77 degrees around 3 p.m.

Even by 5 p.m., temperatures should remain comfortably warm in the mid-70s under clear skies. Communities including Clearwater, Sarasota, St. Petersburg, and Lakeland can expect a beautiful and mild afternoon once morning fog clears.

Comfortable Conditions Into the Evening

With light winds and dry air settling in after the fog lifts, the remainder of the day should remain tranquil. The pleasant afternoon weather may provide ideal conditions for outdoor plans after work or school…
