LELAND, N.C. (WECT) – A wreck on Highway 17 southbound near the Leland Walmart has backed up traffic, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
BCSO issued a traffic alert Friday afternoon advising drivers to use caution in the area and expect delays.
Traffic is backed up nearly to the Alligator Bridge, according to BCSO. Officials recommend drivers consider an alternate route if possible and give responding emergency personnel plenty of room to work…
