Report: Human remains discovered in New Orleans by Entergy workers, police say

NEW ORLEANS — Entergy workers discovered a body in the Leonidas neighborhood Thursday afternoon, and now the New Orleans Police Department is investigating.

As our partners at The Times-Picayune report, the utility crew was working in the 8100 block of Willow Street when they smelled a decaying odor. They alerted other Entergy personnel, who uncovered human remains and called NOPD around 12:22 p.m.
