On Feb. 12, 2026, shortly after 6 a.m., Louisiana State Police Troop C began investigating a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 90 near Cypress Drive in Lafourche Parish. The crash killed 52-year-old Kenneth McMillan of New Orleans.
Troopers said McMillan was driving a 2023 Toyota RAV4 east on Highway 90. A 2021 Chevrolet Colorado was heading west. For reasons still under investigation, the Toyota left the road, crossed the median and hit the Chevrolet head-on.
McMillan suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died. The Chevrolet driver had moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital outside the area. Both drivers were wearing seat belts…
