Arizona’s anti-hazing law called Jack’s Law sets strong penalties for hazing of all kinds. Jack Culolias was a freshman at Arizona State University who passed away due to hazing in 2012. Jack’s Mother, Grace Culolias, says Jack joined the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at ASU to follow in his grandfathers footsteps. Jack had gone missing after drinking with other fraternity brothers at a restaurant in Tempe Market Place. Culolias says that 4 fraternity brothers including Jack were told to swim from one side of Tempe Town Lake to the other but only 3 came back to shore.
