BOSTON — A Boston man is back behind bars after allegedly walking out of a federal re-entry center in brazen defiance of the law.
Tyreek Hall, 23, faces federal escape charges after authorities say he bolted from a residential re-entry center where he was serving the remainder of his sentence for being a felon in possession of ammunition. Hall remains detained following his initial court appearance Feb. 5 before Magistrate Judge M. Page Kelley.
The case reads like a cautionary tale in blatant disregard. In May 2024, Hall was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison for illegally possessing ammunition while on parole. By July 2025, he had been transferred to a residential re-entry center in Boston to serve out the rest of his term, where he worked as a part-time vehicle cleaner…
