PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — The US Marshal Service and the Chapel Hill Police Department have arrested the suspect of the home invasion that happened on Feb. 11 at 200 Louis Street.
21-year-old Zaid Mayen of Chapel Hill was arrested. Mayen was charged with the following:
- First Degree Burglary (F)
- Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury (F)
- First Degree Kidnapping
- First Degree Forcible Sex Offense
Officials say Mayen was booked in the Orange County Detention Center under no bond.
