The owners of San Francisco’s popular Outta Sight Pizza are getting into the bar business.
Peter Dorrance and Eric Ehler plan to open Reggie & Maude’s at 460 Larkin St., steps away from their well-regarded pizzeria, which often sees lines out the door during the lunch rush and is one of the Chronicle’s Top 100 Restaurants in the Bay Area. The news was first reported by Mission Local.
Dorrance declined to comment, saying that they have not yet signed a lease. But the expansion has been announced on Outta Sight’s Instagram, where it’s described it as “a bar with really delicious, yet simple food. approachable and for everyone.” Outta Sight offers New York-style pies, often with creative toppings, as well as thick square slices and sandwiches.
