Rochester, N.Y. — A man with three prior felony convictions is facing new charges following a fatal shooting last year on Rochester’s west side.
Police said they responded to Orchard Street near Riley Park around 9:45 p.m. May 8 for a report of an injured person. Officers found Richard Gollwitzer near a building in a wooded area with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
