(FOX40.COM) — Elk Grove City officials are moving ahead with plans to develop a permanent homeless shelter, marking a major step in the city’s efforts to address homelessness.
During Tuesday night’s city council meeting, the Elk Grove City Hall councilmembers directed staff to begin the process of purchasing a property for the shelter, selecting a site at Survey Road and East Stockton Boulevard.
