While some cats are social butterflies, others are a bit more… exclusive. This week, we want to introduce you to Missy, a beautiful 4-year-old girl at Norfolk Animal Care Center who knows exactly what she wants out of life.
A Girl with Standards
Missy isn’t the type to jump into your arms the second you meet. She’s a sophisticated lady who likes to observe first. She values her personal space and needs a patient human who understands that the best friendships take a little time to bloom.
Once she feels safe and knows you’re “her person,” Missy’s loyal side comes out. She just needs a minute (and maybe a few treats) to show you she’s ready to be your BFF.
The Only-Cat Life
Missy has one very specific request for her new home: she needs to be your one and only. She isn’t interested in sharing the spotlight—or the treats—with other feline roommates. She is looking for a quiet, “cat-centric” household where she can be the undisputed Queen of the Castle. If you have a peaceful home and a heart for independent cats, Missy might be the perfect match for you.
