The Beecher Fire Protection District in suburban Will County said it will continue to call for safety improvements at an intersection where one person died in a fiery crash between a semi and two cars on Friday.
The crash occurred around 3:06 p.m. at the intersection of Illinois Route 1 and County Line Road, the fire protection district said. firefighters arrived on scene and found a car that had been heavily damaged and fully engulfed in flames, with the driver trapped, authorities stated.
