Kelli Volk becomes KELOLAND News Executive Producer

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A familiar face is stepping into a new role at KELOLAND.

KELOLAND Media Group announced Friday that anchor and reporter Kelli Volk will be taking on a new role as Executive Producer. Volk will continue to anchor the KELOLAND News at Five, but will focus most of her time on leading the KELOLAND News producers.

“Kelli knows how to tell a strong story. She is one of the best video journalists we’ve ever had,” said Anna Peters, Director of News and Multimedia Content. “Kelli also has experience as a producer, anchor and reporter, so she understands what it takes to put together an interesting, accurate, and informational newscast. Her attention to detail and knowledge of storytelling make her perfect for this new role.”

Volk started at KELOLAND News in 2016. She’s worn many hats at KELOLAND News, from producer to reporter to anchor. Her reporting work has been recognized with Regional Edward R.
