Mother of man killed by carbon monoxide poisoning expresses heartbreak, anger

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — On Friday, a driver was charged with three counts of murder in connection with the deaths of three disabled men, including Tim Jones, the oldest of three children.

Thera Troutman, Tim’s mother, expressed her heartbreak and anger over the loss of her son.

“I would still have my son if it wasn’t for you,” Troutman said. “He was my light, my pride, my joy. There was no one like him, and no one could ever replace him. Losing him leaves a hole in my heart that will never heal.”
