Driver suffers critical injuries in crash on I-15 exit ramp in North Salt Lake

NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah (KUTV) — A driver suffered critical injuries after crashing into a concrete support beam on an Interstate 15 exit ramp in North Salt Lake.

Lt. Cameron Roden with Utah Highway Patrol said the crash happened shortly after 8 a.m. on Friday.

The driver, who has not been identified, was taking the I-15 exit ramp onto northbound Highway 89 when he went onto the wrong side of a barricade.
