Saint Alphonsus Health System CEO David McFadyen has a goal, and he’s planned two large new facilities to help him achieve it.
“What I’m trying to do, from a vision standpoint, is really build out a health system that can provide access close to home. As the valley grows, transportation becomes a challenge, traffic becomes a challenge,” McFadyen told BoiseDev. “What we’ve really set out to do is ensure patients can get care close to home, typically within 10, maybe 15 minutes of where they live or work.”
To help accomplish this, the healthcare system is looking to new facilities in growing areas. One of the projects is an 80,000-square-foot medical plaza in North Meridian.
