Multiple Seattle police officers were involved in a shooting with a suspect in Ballard Thursday evening after responding to a domestic violence disturbance.
The Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers were initially called to N.W. 62nd Street in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood at approximately 5:40 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports that someone was following a woman. It’s unclear what the relationship between the suspect and the woman is, as of this reporting, but SPD confirmed the two people knew each other.
When officers approached the suspect, a “confrontation” took place. The officers and the suspect exchanged gunfire, with the officers firing multiple gunshots.
