JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with two arson fires that damaged carports and multiple vehicles at the same Stark County apartment complex earlier this week.
According to the Jackson Township Fire Department, the first fire was reported around 3:28 p.m. Feb. 10 in the 4800 block of South Boulevard NW. Firefighters responded to a blaze involving several vehicles and a carport. The fire caused significant property damage, and one person suffered a burn injury.
A second fire was reported around 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at Lake Cable Village Apartments in the 5600 block of Lasater Street NW. That fire also involved multiple vehicles and a carport, resulting in significant damage.
