AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating two teens wanted for kidnapping.
Officials say Demarion Simpson, 19, and Nametrius McClam, 18, are wanted for a kidnapping that happened in the 2500 block of Lumpkin Road on Friday.
The sheriff’s department says Simpson is also wanted for aggravated assault.
McClam was arrested in August 2025 in connection with a deadly shooting on Meadowbrook Drive in the parking lot of an Advance Auto Parts store. However, the charges were dismissed after a filing by the DA’s Office indicated that the lead investigator’s testimony during McClam’s preliminary hearing showed he acted in self-defense…
