COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) — Dozens of food boxes were handed out as the Brooklyn Lakeview Empowerment Center continued its mission to fight food insecurity, serving hundreds of families during its monthly food box donation event.
Volunteers gathered to distribute food to local residents in collaboration with Harvest Hope. Organizers said the center serves almost 500 boxes every month.
