MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says an 18-year-old was arrested on Tuesday for making a terrorist threat to other students at Brindlee Mountain High School.
Sheriff Phil Sims said that on Feb. 10, a Marshall County school resource officer at Brindlee Mountain High School became aware of a social media post by a student, identified by the sheriff as Jaxon Minyard, 18, of Arab, showing a gun. The sheriff said the post’s caption read “School shooter final boss.”

Sims said Minyard was removed from class by the SRO, and school administrators and deputies were dispatched to the school.
