Assessing damaged homes in Nashville after winter storm

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — It’s been nearly three weeks since the winter storm, and cleanup is still well underway in Nashville and beyond.

Mayor Freddie O’Connell addressed the ongoing cleanup efforts around the city and the plans for the future, including a new property assessment, at a roundtable even with local media.

According to the mayor, crews with the Nashville Department of Transportation are working tirelessly to clean up downed tree limbs and brush debris. They’re averaging around 150 crews per day out in Davidson County, but there’s still plenty of work to be done.
