RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC) announced Thursday that it is one step closer to completing its permanent transfer of the Downtown Transfer Hub to the city of Richmond’s Economic Development Authority.
According to the Feb. 12 press release, the Richmond City Council recently voted to transfer the former public safety building property at 5000 North 10th St. to the city’s Economic Development Authority, which will support the development of a modern transfer hub to improve connections, comfort and reliability for riders.
