Rochester, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating two overnight armed robberies that appeared to be related.
Deputy David Marcucci said employees at Wendy’s on Jefferson Road in Henrietta called 911 shortly after 12:05 a.m. Friday to report a robbery at the drive-thru window. Deputies determined a suspect had used a handgun to threaten an employee at the window, before climbing through the window to get inside.
A second suspect, who also had a gun, also climbed through the window, according to Marcucci. The suspects left without stealing anything and drove away. Witnesses said there were four suspects involved…
