For coffee brewed with love and pastries baked with passion, stop by Magpie Cafe. This small business is located right off of Perkins Road and has been run by LSU alumni Kyle and Taylor Wilkinson since 2023.
Although they did not found the coffeehouse, it fell into their lap due to a bond built over coffee.
“Over time, we became great friends with the original owners, James and Lina Jacobs,” Kyle said. “When they made the decision to move to Hawaii for retirement, we offered to purchase the cafe from them.”…
