LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — Volunteers from around the country teamed up with Catholic Charities of Acadiana to repair a Lafayette home.
The Order of Malta volunteers focused on gutting and renovating the home on Lily Street on Thursday, February 12. It was in desperate need of critical rehab.
“This home has been a major renovation. We were able to replace the roof on this property through a grant that we had with Lafayette Consolidated Government, and once we put the new roof on the property, we were able to do work on the inside of the building,” Kim Boudreaux, CEO of Catholic Charities of Acadiana, said…
