(NewsNation) — A former “Bachelor” contestant is recalling a terrifying moment she had when giving birth late last year.
Krystal Nielson revealed that her uterus ruptured when she was giving birth to her second baby, son Rowan.

“I was dilating at 36 weeks,” Nielson said on a recent episode of the podcast “Almost Famous,” saying that she and her husband, Miles Bowles, who share 4-year-old daughter Andara, knew that their son was going to be born early.
“He was going to come early, and he was going to come really quickly because the second time, they tend to drop really fast. Your body knows what to do,” Nielson said.
The “Bachelor Nation” star said she was given medication to soften her cervix, but complications, including a stuck Foley bulb — used to jumpstart labor — made labor much more difficult. “Things just really started to go downhill.”…
