UMC Children’s Hospital receives record-breaking Spirit Halloween donation

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — UMC Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas has received a record-breaking donation from Spirit Halloween’s charitable initiative.

The Spirit of Children program presented UMC with a gift of more than $230,000 on Thursday. It’s the largest gift the program has ever made to the county-run hospital.

Donations from Spirit of Children support several patient-focused initiatives, including playroom arts and crafts, comforting items like blankets and toys, sensory equipment, and non-invasive pain-relief devices used for treatments like injections or blood draws…
