Optimism was in the air Friday morning, Feb. 13, as Woodburn residents and city leaders gathered for the groundbreaking of the city’s long-awaited community center renovation.
“Today is so exciting. This has been a complete community endeavor getting it to this level,” Woodburn Mayor Frank Lonergan said. “This project right now represents a $22 million investment in our community.”
