Former Register-Guard arts writer Bob Keefer has a new photography exhibition on display through the end of April at Eugene’s Inn at the 5th hotel.
Titled “The Oregon Desert,” the show opened Monday, Feb. 2, in the hotel’s Maple Room and features hand-colored black-and-white photographs of eastern Oregon’s high desert.
Keefer, who also worked as arts editor Eugene Weekly, said in a news release, “The eastern Oregon desert is one of the most quietly beautiful places I know,” Keefer said. “I love the isolation, the distant horizons, the wildlife, the sound of coyotes and the deep sense of community among the few people who live there.”…
