Dale Warner claimed he forgot about GPS tracker in wife’s car until she found it 6 months later

LENAWEE COUNTY, MI – Dale Warner admitted to placing a tracking device in his slain wife’s vehicle, but said it was meant for his truck and he had simply forgotten about it.

During the second day of trial proceedings Friday, Feb. 13, prosecutors played police body camera video of Dale Warner speaking to police in the days after she was reported missing by her children in the spring of 2021.

Dale Warner, 57, of Tipton is charged with open murder and tampering with evidence for the death of his wife, Dee Warner, who went missing in April 2021 and was presumed dead ahead of the discovery of her body in August 2024…
