What You Need To Know For This Free Rabies Clinic

According to the Erie County health department’s website, here is what you need to know before heading to the clinic for your pet’s rabies shot.

  • Dogs, cats, and ferrets, ages 3 months and older, are eligible for this clinic.
  • Make sure pets are in a carrier or have on a collar and a short leash. Do not use retractable or extended leashes.
  • Put contact info on your pet’s collar and carrier.  Also, consider having your pet microchipped.  Talk to your vet about this.
  • Up to three pets will be accepted per appointment.
  • Bring proof of the pet’s previous vaccination in order to receive a three-year…
