NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Several Tennessee school districts won’t have to make up days missed during the historic winter storm, thanks to waivers issued by the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE).
According to the TDOE, the districts that have received approved instructional time waivers so far are Cheatham County School District (CCSD) and Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS), as well as Arlington Community Schools, Bartlett City Schools, Collierville Schools, Johnson County Schools, Lakeland School System, Tipton County Schools and Unicoi County Schools.
CCSD told News 2 it received a waiver for five missed days. District officials said there will be no impact on the academic calendar for the remainder of the year…
