COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Central Ohio-based Wendy’s is rolling out special holiday-themed discounts and new limited-time menu items designed to give its customers a dose of “cozy comfort” and nostalgia this February.
The restaurant chain has announced that in honor of Singles Awareness Day, observed on Feb. 15, it is “serving up the ultimate singles celebration with a $1 Dave’s Single cheeseburger with purchase in-app offer.” In a news release, the fast-food brand said the digital discount is good for one day only.
Wendy’s also shared that it will be giving away its signature chili later in the month on National Chili Day. That holiday is on Thursday, Feb. 26. For the one-day freebie, chili fans can get a small chili at no charge with a $5 purchase online or in the Wendy’s app.
“When it’s chilly outside, nothing hits harder than a bowl of chili … and no one does chili like Wendy’s,” the restaurant noted. “Wendy’s Chili has been an OG brand staple since 1969, and it’s only right that such an iconic menu item gets its own day of recognition.”…
