Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office giving away gun locks after 2 teen deaths

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — After two teens died in accidental shootings, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is launching a countywide gun lock giveaway aimed at improving firearm safety and preventing similar tragedies.

The initiative follows the accidental deaths of a 14-year-old boy in January and a 15-year-old boy last week.
