Man dead after shooting on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard in Newport News

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting that left one man dead early Saturday morning in the zero block of J. Clyde Morris Blvd., according to the Newport News Police Department.

Officers responded to the area around 12:15 a.m. for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man outside suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released…
