Sacramento Cops Nab Man Accused Of Firing .45 While Strolling Down Street

Jan. 21 was not exactly a calm night on one Sacramento street. Police say multiple callers reported a man casually walking in the roadway and firing a handgun, prompting a fast response from officers who ultimately arrested 26-year-old Juan Rodriguez.

According to investigators, officers later recovered a .45-caliber pistol fitted with a high-capacity magazine, along with spent shell casings and live rounds scattered across several locations.

Police Timeline and Arrest

Yesterday, in a post on X, the Sacramento Police Department said officers rushed to the area after several callers reported a person walking in the street while firing a handgun. Responding officers quickly located a suspect, identified as Rodriguez, and took him into custody.
