Couples shaped clay during a Valentine’s Day wheel-throwing class at Cantareras Ceramic and Jewelry Studio Boutique, a craft school in El Paso.
Ceramist Brenda Mejia weighed out 1-pound portions of clay for each student as attendees enjoyed Valentine-themed refreshments, including cupcakes, chocolate-covered strawberries and wine.
