MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Madison Police Department is increasing patrols this month focusing on Wisconsin’s alcohol, seatbelt, bicycle and pedestrian laws.
The department is partnering with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office for the enforcement efforts. Officials said the patrols are funded through overtime traffic grants from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
