SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — After years of complaints from residents at the Jenny Lind Apartments, and the city getting involved, the elevators are finally working again.
Tenants say the fix is a major relief, especially for older residents and people with disabilities who struggled to climb multiple flights of stairs. For many, it is the first time in years they can move around their building without fear or pain.
