Bellevue Dumpling Week 2026 Brings Lunar New Year Dining Specials to Local Restaurants

Bellevue will once again celebrate Lunar New Year through food with the return of Bellevue Dumpling Week, taking place February 14 through February 24, 2026.

Part of the city’s ongoing Culinary Weeks program, the event highlights dumplings in a wide range of styles, from steamed and pan-fried to stuffed and soup-filled, with participating chefs creating exclusive dishes inspired by global traditions and Pacific Northwest ingredients. The program is designed to encourage residents and visitors to explore Bellevue’s diverse restaurant scene while supporting local businesses.

Participating Bellevue Restaurants and Featured Offerings

Several downtown and Eastside restaurants will take part in the 2026 celebration, each offering specialty dumpling dishes:

  • Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi — Wagyu dumplings featuring confit wagyu tenderloin with shiso gremolata and yuzu tuile (lounge only)
  • Baron’s Sino Kitchen & Bar — Spicy mala soup dumplings inspired by traditional xiao long bao
  • Black Bottle Gastrotavern — Tang yuan dessert dumplings filled with black sesame and walnut butter
  • Bellden Cafe Bellevue — “Dumplins United,” blending Ukrainian and Chinese dumpling styles
  • Dough Zone Dumpling House (Downtown Bellevue & Overlake locations) — Pan-fried pork Q-Bao buns with savory broth
  • Earl’s Restaurant & Bar — Szechuan shrimp and pork dumplings with chili crunch and black vinegar
  • Hokkaido Ramen Santouka — Buy-one-get-one-free gyoza dumplings during the week
  • Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar — Shrimp shumai with shiitake mushroom, ginger, and scallion
  • Shanghai Dumpling King — Handmade soup dumplings prepared fresh in store

Dumpling Cooking Classes Offered During the Event

In addition to restaurant specials, Whisk will host hands-on dumpling classes as part of Dumpling Week programming.

The “Everyday Dumplings” class on February 15 will guide guests through preparing chicken wontons, shrimp and vegetable potstickers, and fried pork wontons. A second session, “Souped Up Soup Dumplings,” scheduled for February 19, will focus on building flavorful broths and crafting dumplings filled with chicken tom yum, beef pho, and pork varieties.
