Brittain Road will be closed between Chippewa Avenue and Newton Street starting Feb. 16, the Akron Traffic Engineering Division announced.
The city and Great Lakes Construction will be doing exploratory digging to locate utility lines in the area. Work is expected to be completed by Feb. 20.
Traffic will be detoured using Tonawanda Avenue, Goodyear Boulevard and Newton Street and the reverse. Access will continue to be maintained out of the Seiberling Community Learning Center parking lot to Brittain Road northbound…
