Troopers investigate second fatal car crash on Valentine’s Day in Columbus area

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a car crash that killed a Camp Hill man on Valentine’s Day.

At 10:08 p.m. Saturday, Marcus S. Edwards, 44, was fatally injured when the 2013 Dodge Durango he was driving left the roadway on U.S. Highway 280 near the 97-mile marker, approximately eight miles west of Auburn in Lee County, ALEA said in a news release Sunday.
