FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Jamauri Bryant poured in a game high 25 points for Johnson C. Smith University but Fayetteville State capitalized on trips to the free throw line to hand the Golden Bulls a 91-80 CIAA southern division loss Saturday at Capel Arena.
Johnson C. Smith (9-14, 7-9 CIAA) shot 42.6 percent from the field and scored 44 points in the paint, but Fayetteville State (18-6, 12-2 CIAA) converted 34 of 43 free throws and shot 59.1 percent in the second half to maintain control.
