FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — If you think you have the best chili in town, you can put the theory to the test at the Deer Park Irish Pub Chili For Charity Cook-Off.
The cook-off returns on Sunday, February 15, at the Irish pub from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Participants can enter their chili into two categories: traditional and non-traditional. To enter, people only need to bring a crockpot of their best chili. Judges will be needed. Judges must bring a nonperishable food item or make a monetary donation to participate.
Nonperishable food items will be donated to Miss Virginia’s Food Pantry. Miss Virginia’s Food Pantry is a balanced and nutritional food program located on Hanna Street in Fort Wayne. Monetary donations will be donated to suicide prevention efforts…
