GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Tobreis Corney Fields, 37, was arrested yesterday for allegedly breaking a woman’s arm by stomping on it.
A Gainesville Police Department officer reported that at about 1 p.m. on February 13, Fields argued with the victim, and the victim said Fields pushed her, so she pushed him back and unintentionally hit him in the lip, which was previously injured by a dog, requiring surgery. The victim said the physical fight continued until Fields pushed her to the floor, and while she was trying to push herself up from the floor, Fields stomped on her forearm; she said she was told at the hospital that her arm was probably broken, and she was referred to an orthopedic surgeon for follow-up. The officer noted that she was wearing a soft cast when he spoke to her, and she reportedly showed him a text message in which Fields apologized for breaking her arm…
