Orange County earned IAS Accreditation, marking a major milestone in building safety excellence. Orange County’s Division of Building Safety earned accreditation from the International Accreditation Service (IAS), making Orange County the most populous county in Florida, and among the largest in the nation, to receive the designation.
“IAS Accreditation validates the hard work, discipline, and professionalism of our entire team,” said Building Safety Manager Alan C. Plante. “This achievement confirms that our policies, procedures, and daily operations meet nationally recognized standards. Orange County residents can be assured that their local building department excels in customer service and in the consistent and fair application of the Florida Building Code.”
Just three counties in Florida have achieved this accreditation, and among them, Orange County serves the largest population.
